  • Brand:NOIKE-AH
  • Model:NKGF series

Specification

Product Overview

The NOIKE-AH Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF Series is a positive displacement (PD) flow meter designed for precision measurement of high-viscosity liquids such as lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, resin, glue, and other industrial fluids.

Using a pair of precision-machined gears, the transmitter divides the flowing liquid into fixed-volume chambers and accurately measures the flow volume. It provides excellent accuracy, repeatability, and long-term stability, making it suitable for industrial process control, dosing systems, and precision flow monitoring.

Why Choose the NOIKE-AH Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF?

Choosing a Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF is especially beneficial for applications requiring stable measurement of viscous liquids.

The NOIKE-AH Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF offers the following advantages:

  • Positive displacement measuring principle for high-accuracy volumetric measurement
  • Excellent performance with high-viscosity media
  • High repeatability for consistent process control
  • Flow measurement independent of turbulence or flow profile
  • No straight pipe sections required for installation
  • Multiple output options for easy PLC and automation integration
  • Available in aluminum, 304, 316, and 316L stainless steel
  • Suitable for demanding industrial environments

Working Principle

Positive Displacement Measurement

The Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF operates using the positive displacement principle.

Precision Gear Rotation

Two precision-machined cylindrical gears are installed inside the measuring chamber. As liquid flows through the meter, hydraulic pressure causes the gears to rotate.

Fixed-Volume Chamber Measurement

Each gear rotation divides the liquid into fixed-volume chambers, allowing the meter to measure the actual displaced liquid volume.

Non-Contact Signal Detection

A non-contact sensor detects each passing gear tooth without mechanical contact, ensuring stable signal generation.

Pulse Signal Output

The rotational movement is converted into electrical pulse signals proportional to the instantaneous flow rate. Depending on the selected configuration, these signals can also be converted into analog or digital outputs.

Key Advantages

High Measurement Accuracy

  • Standard accuracy: ±0.5%
  • High-precision version: ±0.2%
  • Repeatability: 0.1%

Suitable for precision flow monitoring and dosing applications.

Excellent Performance with High-Viscosity Liquids

Unlike many other flow measurement technologies, higher liquid viscosity helps reduce internal slippage, contributing to stable measurement accuracy.

Independent of Flow Profile

Measurement accuracy is not affected by:

  • Flow velocity distribution
  • Turbulence
  • Pipeline vibration

No straight pipe sections are required.

Wide Measuring Range

The transmitter provides reliable measurement across a wide operating flow range.

Flexible Signal Integration

Supports multiple industrial output signals, including:

  • Pulse Output
  • 4–20 mA Analog Output
  • RS485 (Modbus)

Suitable for integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial controllers, and process automation equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What types of liquids can this Gear Flow Transmitter NKGF measure?

It is suitable for lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, resin, glue, chemical liquids, and other high-viscosity industrial fluids.

Does viscosity affect measurement accuracy?

Higher-viscosity liquids generally reduce internal slippage, helping maintain stable measurement accuracy.

Is a straight pipe section required?

No. Measurement accuracy is independent of flow profile, so straight pipe sections are generally not required.

What output signals are available?

Available outputs include Pulse, 4–20mA analog output, and RS485 (Modbus), depending on the selected model.

Do I need straight pipe runs for installation?

No. Due to the PD principle, the gear meter is insensitive to flow profiles and can be installed directly after bends or valves.

Can it measure fluids with particles?

We highly recommend installing a filter at the inlet. The tight tolerances between the gears can be damaged by hard particles.
